I will be giving a talk, “Let’s Talk About Sex: Why Infertility is a Ticking Time Bomb for the Asian Community,” at the APRU Global Health Conference. Hosted by Fudan University, it is a virtual gathering of those dedicated to global health from across the globe. Registration is free at: https://lnkd.in/gEmYDEw
My talk will be 15 minutes at approximately 8pm Pacific time, Oct. 19th, which is Day 2 (Oct. 21) Shanghai time.
I will join Dr. Christopher Herndon, Medical Director of University Reproductive Care, and Sasha Ottey, Executive Director of PCOS Challenge, on a panel at ASRM & RESOLVE’s Advocacy Academy Jan. 20th to address using our voices to create social and legislative change. If the session is recorded, I will post the replay later.
Panel discussion replay from the Seattle Asian American Film Festival
I moderated a festival discussion of Asian American filmmakers, actors and advocates on the topic of miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss. Click here to watch the replay on YouTube.
Welcome to my little hub on the Information Superhighway. (Do they even call it that anymore? I may have just dated myself.)
This website houses my writing and media appearances, which focus primarily on infertility advocacy and Asian American community issues. Hope you find something that resonates, and every now and then, come back for more.
Below is a quote that guides me in a life of service to the community, and my favorite photo with the Washington State delegation from RESOLVE’s federal Advocacy Day. I co-led the training of all advocates for three years and was state captain of the Washington delegation for six years.
Family-building advocates from our state delegation represent patient, physician and other professional voices. Here is our 2019 group inside one of the congressional buildings. We had to stop and ham it up at these vintage phone booths!
